Our school is located in the province of Girona halfway between Barcelona and the French border, in the municipality of Forallac; in the heart of Baix Empordà and a few kilometers from the Costa Brava.
The quality of the environment, the natural beauty, the good weather, beaches and coves, its history: the medieval villages, the ruins of Empúries and the gastronomy of the area ... are some of the facts that have contributed to the recognition of our region. The idyllic beaches of the Costa Brava combine exceptionally with the historical and cultural heritage and a wide range of activities and services throughout the territory of Baix Empordà .
We can find beaches with long areas of sand as small hidden coves, very quiet or lively. There is something to suit all tastes.
In Empordà you can find medieval charming villages like: Pals, Begur, Peratallada, Vulpellac, Fonteta, Ullastret, Monells, Cruïlles, Rupia, Foixa, Calella de Palafrugell, Púbol and Pera, Palau-Sator, and others like Palamós and Torroella de Montgri .
In this area we must also highlight the Dali triangle, the famous route linking three of the key points in the life of Salvador Dalí: the city of Figueres, Púbol and Portlligat.
In Figueres was where the painter was born, and you can find the Dalí Theatre Museum, opened in 1974, where a wide range of works of his artistic career are displayed. In the village of Pubol you can visit the medieval castle that served as the residence of Dalí during the eighties. You can see paintings, furniture and the haute couture dresses of Gala, his wife and muse. Finally, in the coastal town of Portlligat, where the painter sought inspiration, there is the only stable residence of the marriage turned into a house-museum where currently there are tours to visit the study, the yellow room, the dining-room and the pool of the famous surrealist painter.
Girona, capital of the province, is a city distinguished by the beauty that give off its historic buildings such as the imposing Cathedral of Romanesque and Gothic style or the curious church of Sant Feliu; for the authenticity of its streets, such as the Jewish neighborhood or the Rambla, which have preserved medieval features perfectly. It is a city that can be visited several times throughout the year, as each time you can experience it in a different way. In May, for Temps de Flors, the city dresses of flowers, a fantastic spectacle; or the Feast of Saint Narcis in October. We can always recover our forces in bars and, of course, at the best restaurant in the world: Celler de Can Roca.
